2014 Harley Street Glide audio upgrade projects are always fun, especially when the goal is simple: make the bike rock at highway speeds. This first-time client from Weirsdale, FL came to Ocala Car Audio wanting a motorcycle audio system he could actually enjoy on the road, with or without a helmet.
His 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Glide needed more than a small speaker swap. When Scott came in for his 2014 Harley Street Glide audio upgrade, He wanted volume, clarity, control, and a system built for real riding conditions. We designed a complete upgrade using a Diamond Audio WHD14+ radio, Cicada Audio speakers, Cicada saddlebag lid speaker provisions, Cicada tweeters, Cicada mid-bass drivers, and our Ocala Car Audio OCA100.4A amplifier.
The result of this 2014 Harley Street Glide audio upgrade is a clean, powerful Harley audio system that gives this Street Glide the output and clarity needed for Florida cruising, highway rides, and weekend trips out of Weirsdale, Ocala, The Villages, and the surrounding North Central Florida area.

Cicada Speakers Bring the Output
Motorcycle audio is different from car audio. A Harley does not have a quiet cabin. It has wind noise, road noise, exhaust note, and open-air listening conditions. That is why speaker selection matters so much.

For this build, the Cicada CXX69.4 6×9 speakers were used to add strong output from the saddlebag area. The Cicada CHDLID kit allowed the 6×9 speakers to be installed into the saddlebag lids for a clean, purposeful look. This gives the bike more speaker area and helps project the sound where the rider can enjoy it.

The Cicada CM65.2 mid-bass drivers and RR075T tweeters help fill in the front sound stage. The mid-bass drivers add punch and body, while the tweeters help the music stay clear and present at speed. This combination is important because a loud system that sounds harsh is not enjoyable. The goal is loud, clean, and controlled.
Ocala Car Audio OCA100.4A Amplifier Power
Speakers need clean power to perform correctly. The Ocala Car Audio OCA100.4A amplifier gives this Harley system the power it needs without relying only on radio power. That means better control, stronger output, and less strain when the rider turns it up.
On a motorcycle, amplifier choice and installation quality matter. The system needs to be efficient, secure, properly wired, and set up so it can play hard without creating unnecessary distortion. Our team handled the installation, wiring, mounting, and system setup so the finished system could do what the client asked for: rock at highway speeds.

Built for a First-Time Client from Weirsdale, FL
This client came to us from Weirsdale looking for the right motorcycle audio solution, not just a box of parts. After talking through how he rides and what he wanted from the bike, we built a system around output, clarity, and usability.
Whether he is riding locally, heading toward Ocala, cruising around Lake Weir, or taking a longer highway ride, this 2014 Harley Street Glide now has an audio system that is much better matched to the way the bike is actually used.
